LOVE ME, MOMMY, UNTIL I'M JANKO
We already know something about the healing effects of touch. Therefore, it probably won't come as much of a surprise to you that mother-infant touch is absolutely crucial for the proper physical, mental and emotional development of the human baby. We deliberately use the word "cub" because, like other mammals, our babies have a natural environment - a habitat - and they are in close contact with their mother (or father). If a cub finds itself outside of this natural habitat, it immediately begins to show signs of intense stress. This is why it is important not to separate our human cubs from their mother immediately after birth (and ideally for several weeks afterwards) and to let them spend as much time as possible in skin-to-skin contact. This means: no swaddling, no gloves, no clothes. Simply naked.
NO MAGIC, PURE NATURE
It may seem unreal and you may not want to believe us at first that skin-to-skin contact can have such "miraculous" effects. When a baby's naked skin touches its mum's naked skin, miracles really do happen: the baby is calm, happy, breathing properly (yes, even SIDS can be prevented by this, but that's another story for another time), maintaining a stable and normal body temperature, blood pressure, heart rate, blood sugar levels, and its nervous system stays calm (in short, total chill, no stress. ) He develops a secure emotional attachment to his mother and is able to latch on more easily and even latch on to the breast properly.
But what's going on in mom's body? In addition to making new neural connections in her brain that allow her to better perceive her baby's needs and thus be a "better mother" to her baby, she also increases her production of hormones responsible for breast milk production. Therefore, if for some reason breastfeeding is not working as it should, the first measure that is really worth applying immediately is skin-to-skin contact.

It's simple, fast, effective and costs you nothing. Just strip down to half a waist, strip the baby down to just a diaper and put it on your bare skin. And soak. The longer and more often, the better. If you should get cold, our Vacice merino blanket can cover you both - it's soft, breathable, but warm when you need it. For such a soothing bonding, you can also try our dress made of breathable stretchy material (merino + tencel), which even your baby can easily fit into. Sweat-free, warm, swaddling, everything you need.
Skin-to-skin contact (also referred to by some, not quite accurately, as bonding) is an amazingly miraculous thing that nature gave us and that is available to us for free anytime, anywhere. It can be the cure for a fever, for a weepy morning, for a sleepless night, or for breastfeeding problems. It is available without a prescription and cannot be overdosed. It is recommended by 10 out of 10 opossums (Vacice).
