Not every sleeper likes two-piece pyjamas, so we decided to add children's nightgowns to our Vačica range. Whether you have a little baby at home or a bigger fan of free movement during sleep, a nightgown for children may be just what you are looking for. Our nightgowns are cut in an A-line shape, gathered at the bottom with a soft elastic band and fastened with snaps to ensure your children get the most comfortable sleep without the nightgown riding up. We sew nightgowns from merino wool or organic cotton, thinner, thicker, winter, summer, colorful, patterned, and white. Just take your pick.
Why do we love nightgowns for children?
Vačica children's nightgowns reach approximately to the middle of the calves, so even if they roll up, they still cover everything important that needs to be covered. It is ideal for children who are still in diapers, later for easy potty training, or for independent toddlers. Ideal for making nighttime care easier. Vačice children's nightgowns are designed as a practical combo with our sleeping bags.
What is the best material?
If you ask us, the choice is clear: 100% merino wool. At Vačice, we use it as the inner layer of our sleeping bags, and it's a super fiber! We appreciate most its ability to regulate body temperature and cool or warm as needed. It is hypoallergenic, naturally antibacterial, and easy to care for. This makes it the ideal material for children's pajamas and merino nightgowns. We use merino wool to sew lighter nightgowns for warmer nights and thicker winter nightgowns for nights when you need to stay warm.
If you prefer cotton, we also have nightgowns made from the finest organic cotton, suitable even for sensitive children's skin. You can choose a nightgown with long or short sleeves and with or without (eco-friendly) prints. Children's nightgowns are sewn in two sizes so that your little ones can wear them for as long as possible.
