You’ve been asking us for a long-sleeve sleeping bag almost from the very beginning. We heard the question “When will you have ones with sleeves?” for years. But it wasn’t as simple as just sewing sleeves onto a bag—sleeves change how the bag fits and how it retains warmth. We had to break it down completely and start from scratch.
And while we were at it, we wanted our winter bags to be even softer and gentler to the touch, while still keeping your little ones just as warm as they should. It took time, but they are finally here!
Read on to find out what’s new, what stayed the same, why we made these changes, which bag to choose, and how to pick the right size.
It happens to every parent at some point. A leaked diaper, a nighttime mishap, or a morning surprise in the sleeping bag.
The good news is that in most cases, stains can be removed from merino wool. You just need to treat them correctly and avoid setting them permanently with improper washing.
Are you looking for a merino sleeping bag, sleeping bag with legs, children's sleeping bags or baby sleeping bags? At Vačice, we use exclusively RWS ZQRX merino wool in all our children's sleeping bags. Why? Because it is about children's health, the purity of the material against the skin, and scientifically supported better sleep.
Can babies wear sleep sacks from birth? Yes! Even such tiny babies? Really? Absolutely!
Read on to find out when you can put your baby in their first sleep sack, how to choose the right one, which size is ideal, what material to look for, when to buy one, and how long your little one can wear it.

Do you want your merino clothes to last for years and retain their softness and functionality? Then proper care is a must. We've put together a handy guide to help you know everything you need to know about caring for merino.
Your girlfriends are talking about it, it's popping up on social media, even the sparrows on the roof are chirping about it. Merino. You've heard it's a wool, amazing and miraculous. But what makes it so special that everyone loves it? Read on and see for yourself. And then maybe one day you'll see for yourself.
How to make my baby feel comfortable at night? To keep him safe, to keep him from getting too cold or overheating? To get a good night's sleep for him and (ideally) for me? At first glance, this may seem like a trivial question, but in reality, the answers can be endless. So which is the right one? It's probably not what you want to hear right now, but: different for everyone. But don't worry, it does have a few principles, and if you stick to them, you and your baby will sleep well at night.
If you're one of those moms who like to be prepared and well-equipped, here are some tips on how to handle the six weeks of your first, second or even third baby.
We believe that by preparing well, you can enjoy this time with your baby, but we also know from our own experience that preparing for a new addition to the family is not nearly as easy as preparing for, say, a work meeting.
So, if things don't go according to your plan, don't despair and, above all, take a deep breath. We'll help you with that too.
You ask, we answer. Well, okay, you don't ask, but we'll tell you anyway. So is merino wool good for summer? Short answer: YES. Long answer: read the article.
It's crying, it's wriggling, but it's not a tummy ache, sir. I mean, at least it's not necessarily a tummy ache. We're not going to replace doctors now, of course, but we already know a thing or two about baby colic. And we know that when we discover the true cause of our baby's misfortune, we can eliminate it quite effectively. Even without medication.
We've got such a wickedness here, and that is unrealistic expectations of our young children in terms of their sleep. Our little miracle worker is not even half a year old yet and we are already googling and paying sleep consultants, just so that the baby finally sleeps through the night and doesn't hang up on us when we put him to sleep. But where did these expectations come from and should we be making a big deal out of them? Let's take a look at the 5 most common myths that could really be dust.
Or how to put a child to sleep without harming the health of both parties involved. Dear tired mom, close your eyes, take a deep breath and exhale. We're in this with you. Whether you've just spent twenty sweaty minutes bouncing around on a fitball with a baby in your arms, whether you're starting to feel the first signs of thigh muscles from rocking with a baby in a carrier or trying to tame a wild beast at half past ten in the evening, we can imagine what you're going through. We've been there, too. We rocked, we bounced, we walked, we sang, we shushed, we hmmmmed, we nursed, we traded the carrier for a scarf and vice versa, all with one noble goal in mind: to put our little ones to sleep. The following lines might serve to reassure and encourage you that what you are doing is right and if you persevere, you won't lose your nerve and you have a chance of raising a happy and contented child.

There are so many conflicting opinions and information around newborn care that sometimes you really don't know anymore. If you are interested in how we care for our newborn marsupials, feel free to read our short guide.
Welcome back, we're reporting back with the next part of our series on basic care for mini humans. Today we're going to look right into the eyes, ears, mouth and nose and write a little bit about how we care for these parts of the newborn's little body when something is bothering them. Read on, the show can begin.
At the beginning of the Vacice brand was the desire to make sleep more pleasant for our children. We wanted to give them something nice, unique and most importantly functional. We try to translate this desire into our products and the materials we use to make them.
Do you long for our sleeping bags, but worry about how to swaddle your little one at night if necessary? Oh, it's easy that way:
Do you know what wrinkles actually are...?
..those annoying little balls? Where do they come from and how do they form?
We are sleeping well today.
We don't wake up to blanket cold dumped babies at night. They are getting better quality and deeper sleep, they are warm and we are not worried about them catching a cold.
It hasn't always been that way, and of course, we've had tough nights and rough mornings too.
When our first daughter was born, we had no experience with baby care, we hadn't been taught anything, we hadn't been given any "well-meaning advice" (sometimes thankfully).
This sweet ignorance of ours and the immediate skin-to-skin contact after birth was a great start to contact parenting.
